These terms explain how to book a locksmith job with us, what it costs and what rights you have if something is not right. They apply to every job ordered by phone, by email or through zamecnik-nonstop-pohotovost.cz.

1. Who provides the service

The services are supplied, and this website is run, by Jugend s.r.o., Company ID 22219129, with its registered office at Chudenická 1059/30, Hostivař, 102 00 Prague 10, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 412774 (“we” or “the provider”). “You” or “the customer” means anyone who orders a job from us.

We cover the whole of Prague, day and night, seven days a week. Our services include:

  • opening slammed and locked doors: flat, security, interior, balcony, garage and uPVC doors;
  • opening doors with electronic locks, multi-point locks or door chains;
  • replacing, repairing, adjusting and fitting locks, cylinders and additional locks;
  • rekeying a lock to a new key;
  • opening cars, including electric cars, commercial vehicles and car boots, and removing a broken key from a car lock.

We do not cut or copy keys, open safes or sell locks on their own. If you ask for any of these, we will say so on the first call.

2. Booking and the job on site

Call +420 775 057 795 or use the form on our website. Give us the address, the type of door or vehicle and a short description of what happened. The contract is concluded once we confirm the call-out.

We only open a home or vehicle for someone who is entitled to it. Please have an ID document ready for the technician, together with a document showing your right to the property, such as a tenancy agreement, a title deed extract or your car’s registration certificate. If your entitlement cannot be verified, the technician will refuse the job and may call the Czech police. Such a visit is treated as a job not carried out under Section 5.

Before starting, the technician will explain how they plan to open the lock and tell you the total price. Work only begins once you agree.

3. Prices and call-out

Prices in the price list on our website are “from” prices. The final amount depends on the door, the lock, the number of security features and the situation on site.

Call-out fee:

  • standard call-out (travel there and back, flat fee): from 700 CZK;
  • night emergency call-out between 03:00 and 07:00: from 499 CZK.

Labour for each service is priced in the price list. Materials such as a new cylinder or lock are charged separately. Each additional security feature on the door may add a surcharge depending on how demanding the job is.

Outside standard hours (weekdays 07:00–17:00) the following surcharges are added to the base labour price:

  • weekdays 17:00–22:00: +50%;
  • weekdays 22:00–07:00: +100%;
  • Saturday 07:00–17:00: +50%;
  • Saturday 17:00–07:00: +100%;
  • Sundays and public holidays, all day: +100%.

All prices in the price list exclude VAT.

The technician will tell you the total price on site after looking at the door, and always before any work begins. If you do not accept it, you may decline the job; Section 5 then applies.

4. Payment

You pay on site once the technician has finished, in cash or by card. You will receive a receipt for every job.

5. Cancellation, no-show and withdrawal

If you no longer need us, please call +420 775 057 795 as soon as you can. Cancelling before the technician sets off costs nothing.

We may apply the call-out charge listed in our price list (standard from 700 CZK, night 03:00–07:00 from 499 CZK) if the technician has already set off or arrived and the job does not go ahead because:

  • you cancelled after the technician was dispatched;
  • the door was opened some other way in the meantime;
  • neither you nor anyone you named is at the agreed address;
  • you could not prove your right to the property or vehicle;
  • you did not accept the quoted price.

If you are a consumer and conclude the contract by phone or online, you can normally withdraw within 14 days. By ordering an emergency call-out, however, you expressly ask us to start straight away. Once the service has been fully performed, a consumer can no longer withdraw (Section 1837 of the Civil Code). If you withdraw earlier, you pay a proportionate part of the work done up to that point. The technician will remind you of this before starting.

6. Guarantee and liability

We always try to open without damage. Even so, our price list distinguishes between opening without damage and opening with damage to the lock or cylinder, which is often the only option when a lock is faulty or broken. The technician will agree the method with you in advance. Damage to the lock or cylinder resulting from a method you approved is not damage for which we are liable.

We are liable for defects in our work and in the materials we fit under the Civil Code, in particular Section 2615 et seq. We are not liable for defects we did not cause, such as later forced damage or normal wear and tear.

We are liable for any damage we cause through our fault under the general rules of Czech law.

7. Complaints and disputes

Report any defect in the work or materials without undue delay by email to prahazamecnik@gmail.com or by phone on +420 775 057 795. Describe the defect and attach the receipt and, if possible, photos.

We will confirm that we have received your complaint and resolve it within 30 days, unless we agree a longer period with you.

A consumer may bring a dispute before the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz), which settles disputes between consumers and businesses out of court. This does not affect your right to go to court.

8. Personal data

To handle your order we need your name, phone number, the address of the job and, where relevant, your email. The controller of these data is Jugend s.r.o. On site the technician only checks your ID and property document and does not make copies. How we handle personal data and what rights you have is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Final provisions

These terms and every order are governed by Czech law, in particular the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.). For consumers, the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.) applies as well.

The terms are published on our website, and we will email them to you on request.

We may change these terms. Each job is governed by the version in force on the day it was ordered.

The English version is a translation. If the Czech and English versions differ, the Czech version prevails.

These terms are effective from 14 October 2026.
